Mid-Continent Instruments To Service Kannad ELTs

Named As Mid-Western Factory-Authorized Repair Center

Mid-Continent Instruments has been selected as Kannad's mid-western factory-authorized repair and factory-authorized warranty repair center for the company's line of standard and compact 121.5 MHz and 406 MHz digital emergency locator transmitters (ELTs).

"We are extremely proud to have been selected to represent Kannad's family of advanced aviation ELT products to customers throughout North America," stated Jason McMillan, production analyst for Mid-Continent Instruments. "The high-level of technical skill needed to troubleshoot and repair these sophisticated units is the perfect complement to our growing list of avionics and instrument repair services."

Technicians at Mid-Continent Instruments have recently completed extensive on-site training from  Kannad representatives on the operation, troubleshooting and repair of the company's aviation ELT products. "Providing factory-authorized repair service for highly-sophisticated aircraft instruments like Kannad ELTs is the foundation of Mid-Continent Instruments capabilities," he said. "We have invested heavily in training, test equipment and repair labs to offer owner/operators the highest degree of quality repair and overhaul services."
