Archer Releases First Quarter Financial, Operating Results

UAE Launch On Track, New Launch Edition Customers

Archer Aviation, maker of urban air mobility aircraft, announced its financial and operating results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025. The company also issued a letter to its shareholders and hosted a live webcast, both to discuss the results and estimates for the second quarter.

The live webcast was held on May 12, 2025, during which Adam Goldstein, founder and CEO of Archer, presented the results.

He said, “Archer’s pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and reshaping the future of aviation for years to come. This quarter, the team made strong progress across our civil and defense efforts as we continue to deepen our strategic partner relationships and prepare for commercialization in the UAE later this year.”

Highlights of the quarter are:

Financial: Adjusted EBITDA to be a loss of $100 million to $120 million. The company is unable to provide a complete snapshot because certain items related to stock-based compensation are not known at this time.

UAE Launch is On Track: Archer will deliver its first Midnight aircraft to UAE soon for its planned deployment later in the year. The company also secured design approval for the first hybrid heliport in Abu Dhabi.

New “Launch Edition” Customers: The program was rolled out in Q4 2024, and during Q1 2025 Archer announced its first two customers will be Abu Dhabi Aviation and Ethiopian Airlines.

AI Partnership With Palantir: The company has formed a fundamental partnership with Palantir to build artificial intelligence for developing next-generation aviation technologies including AI-assisted software to improve aviation systems.

NYC Air Taxi Network With United: Hosted an event with United Airlines that shared their joint plans to connect Manhattan with nearby airports using Midnight aircraft to allow customers to replace one-to-two hour drives with flights taking just 5-15 minutes.
