Finmari Takes Delivery Of An AgustaWestland Grand

Helo Handed Over During Italian Pilot Conference

AgustaWestland announced this week the delivery of a Grand helicopter to Finmari at a ceremony attended by the participants of the first AgustaWestland Italian Corporate Pilot Conference.

The two-day AgustaWestland Italian Corporate Pilot Conference, held at AgustaWestland's Cascina Costa facility, provided a forum for both the company and pilots to deepen mutual relationships and exchange views on a number of subjects including operations, safety, performance, training, technology and innovation.

This Grand, which adds to an AW109 Power, will be used by Finmari for VIP and corporate transport purposes. Finmari, headquartered in Florence, adds to the growing list of AgustaWestland customers who have chosen the Grand helicopter to meet their corporate transport requirements.

AgustaWestland tells ANN this and several other recent orders further strengthens the Grand's presence in the Italian market where it has achieved exceptional success, in particular for executive transport and emergency medical service roles.

Launched in 2004, the Grand was developed to meet a wide range of market requirements and provides levels of cabin space and payload that until now could only be met by larger, more expensive helicopters. Almost 190 orders have been placed to date by over 100 customers in nearly 30 countries. Over 60 helicopters are now in service worldwide.
