Cleveland Pitcher Trevor Bauer Has Lost A Drone

Has Asked For Its Return 'Or I'll Just Have To Build Another One'

Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer has lost one of his drones, and the club is not being very helpful in helping him get it back.

Bauer, you may recall, injured a finger on his throwing hand with a drone rotor the day before he was scheduled to pitch last year in Game 3 of the ALCS. He needed stitches, and while he started the game, he didn't last an inning. He didn't have much success through the World Series, either.

Now, one of two drones Bauer owns has gone missing. The Associated Press reports that Bauer said he was flying his drone in a park and "bumped the ground", causing the GoPro camera to separate from the aircraft. Bauer said he kept flying the drone until "it just basically landed" in a different part of the park. But when he went to retrieve it, it was nowhere to be found.

He posted a message on Twitter asking for its return. He told the AP "if I don’t get it back, I’ll have to make a third one. And no Cleveland fan wants me to be building a drone right now.”

With his hand completely healed from last year, Bauer has been pitching pretty well this year, going 16-9 with a 4.28 ERA in 30 starts.
