Bell Announces Two New Additions To North American Sales Team

Will Handle Sales In Western, Northeastern U.S.

Bell Helicopter has tapped Owen Coulman and Darin Howell as new regional commercial sales managers in North America. They will be responsible for sales activities and building relationships with current customers in each of their respective regions.

"We are very excited to have Owen and Darin join our team," said Anthony Moreland, Bell Helicopter's Managing Director for Commercial Sales in North America. "Their extensive aviation knowledge and rotorcraft experience will help us to serve our existing customers in both the western and eastern regions, as well as continue to expand our commercial business throughout North America."

Before joining Bell Helicopter, Coulman attended Oregon State on a Naval ROTC Scholarship and served as a U.S. Marine. He began his career as a communications officer before transitioning to aviation, earning designation as an AH-1W SuperCobra pilot in 1999. Coulman flew for the remainder of his 20 year career while holding numerous staff and leadership positions. He has deployed with three Marine Expeditionary Units and to Okinawa, Japan, with two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. A commercial pilot and aircraft owner, Coulman has also earned his FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (Helicopter) rating. As a Bell Helicopter regional sales manager, Coulman will be responsible for the Western United States, specifically California, Arizona and Hawaii.

Howell is an accomplished business professional with a diverse set of marketing and business development experience. He has led both new product and new market penetration initiatives across multiple industries, including aviation and technology. Before joining Bell Helicopter, he worked in a similar role at a technology sector capital equipment company, where he established and executed global strategies for the penetration of new markets. He has also served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CH-46E helicopter pilot, earning multiple flight designations including Assault Flight Leader and Instructor Pilot. Howell holds an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College. In his role at Bell Helicopter, Howell will be responsible for the Northeastern United States.
