Avidyne Names Matt Cowan SE Regional Sales Manager

Brings 12 Years of Sales Experience, Regional Knowledge To Job

Avidyne Corporation announced Thursday the appointment of Matt Cowan as Southeast Regional Sales Manager. The avionics manufacturer tells ANN Cowan is an 800-hour instrument-rated private pilot with extensive sales experience and regional knowledge. He is based in Tampa, FL.

Before joining Avidyne, Cowan was at Guaranty Bank Home Equity where he advanced from Account Executive to Florida-Alabama-Mississippi Sales Manager to Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Accounts Manager.

During his seven-year tenure he was a leader in production and profitability, qualified every year for the company's annual sales award, was a top-five manager nationwide and was recognized as Top Regional Representative of the Year.

Prior to Guaranty Bank, Cowan was Regional Sales Representative for International Paper in Los Angeles and was a Sales Representative for International Heritage, Inc., in Atlanta. He holds a bachelor's degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.

"Matt's proven sales skills, his flying experience and his familiarity with the Southeast will benefit our growing base of dealers across the region, especially as we continue to expand our aftermarket product line with exciting new safety sensors and high-value avionics systems," said Jamie Luster, Avidyne Director of Aftermarket Sales.
