Phoenix Heliparts In Developmental Stages Of Four STCs

Company Completing Installations At Its 40,000 Square Foot Facility In Arizona

Phoenix Heliparts has earned '8110' approval for the installation of four MD 500 parts: engine compressor plenums, auto relites, fuel cap rain gutters, and avionics/ battery trays. "We are expecting our STC approval for these parts very shortly," said Phoenix president, Tina Cannon. Phoenix is also anticipating a PMA program for several other parts.

Phoenix executives and service representatives will be available on-site to answer any questions regarding the company's new and existing products and services. "Our recent STC and PMA programs are a culmination of months of hard work and commitment by the Phoenix team to expand our product and service offering," Cannon added. "We are looking forward to presenting these new products to our extensive international customer base of civilian and military rotorcraft operators. The 8110 approval for these parts by FAA-designated airworthiness and engineering representatives (DAR/DER) is evidence of Phoenix's continued commitment to exceeding quality and safety standards to deliver service excellence to its valued customers."  STC and PMA certification is a natural progression from the initial 8110 approval.

Phoenix Heliparts' pending STC approval to install engine compressor plenums for the 369, 500 and 600 series aircraft will allow inspection of the Rolls Royce 250 turbine engine compressor from the inside of the aircraft.

The auto reignition, another pending STC  approval, will allow owners of the 369C and 369D series helicopters to replace damaged systems with a more modern version, much like those installed in new 369 E and 369FF aircraft.
