Zenith Aviation Acquires Dornier 328 Turboprop Assets

Over 1,000 Rotable Parts Purchased From Satena Airline Of Bogota, Colombia

Zenith Aviation, an industry-leading aircraft parts supply and logistics support company, has acquired a large quantity of the Dornier 328 turboprop aircraft assets from the airline SATENA, based in Bogota, Colombia.

The assets acquired include over 1,000 new, repaired, and overhauled rotable and consumable parts that originally supported SATENA’s Dornier 328 turboprop fleet.

Also included were a complete 328 turboprop tooling inventory which is available for rent, and a large quantity of rotable components to be overhauled. The parts will reside in Zenith’s Fredericksburg, VA climate-controlled warehouse, which provides state-of-the-art computer automated storage and retrieval systems that can pick a part in less than 60 seconds with a 99 percent accuracy rate.

“This purchase continues and strengthens Zenith’s commitment to serving the Dornier 328 turboprop operators worldwide,” said Bob Stanford, President and CEO of Zenith.
