Bombardier BizJet Sets 50+ Speed Records In Under 50 Weeks

Global 7500’s Impressive Record-Setting City-Pair Flights

Bombardier announced that its Global 7500 business jet keeps on setting speed records by reaching more than 50 records in less than 50 weeks.

Some of the essential city-pair records are impressive, including London to Bahrain, Miami to São Paulo, Tokyo to Los Angeles, and Jeddah to London. In addition, the average speed of its 10 fastest new records clocks in at more than 1,000 km/h or 621 mi/h. The worldwide fleet is approaching 200 deliveries and with more than 180,000 flight hours accumulated, the Global 7500 has proven its reliability in the ultra-long-range class. Its system of slats and flaps generate notable lift during takeoff and approach, and its aerodynamic efficiency yields excellent short-field and high-speed performance while reducing fuel burn and lowering emissions.

In addition to its performance and reliability, the aircraft is known for its luxury with innovative seats, HEPA filters for clean air, and spacious interior with four living spaces, home theater, a kitchen, and a dedicated suite for crewmembers. Altogether it provides an optimum environment for work or entertainment during long travel times.

Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive Vice President of Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Defense said, “With every new speed record, the Global 7500 aircraft builds on its well-deserved reputation as the most impressive ultra long-range aircraft in the skies today. In terms of its design attributes, unique technological advancements and more, the Global 7500 aircraft is unmatched for its reliability, productivity and style.”
