New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Career Expo To Be Held Sept. 24

Event Held At The NM Air National Guard Hangar At Kirtland AFB

The New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Career Expo will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Mexico Air National Guard hangar, Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, N.M.  The New Mexico Air National Guard has partnered with the New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Association to host this event to provide mid-school through college age participants an opportunity to meet and engage with today’s leaders of New Mexico's aviation and aerospace industry.

The focus of this event emphasizes the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through a direct hands-on interaction with industry leaders, higher education institutions with aviation programs, flight training schools, military displays and numerous military and civilian aircraft.  All exhibitors including the aircraft will be manned and ready to engage all participants.

The mission of the New Mexico Aviation Aerospace Career Expo is to educate, motivate and provide each attendee with the latest information on what it takes to begin a career in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Some of our Mission Partners include: Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, NM Air National Guard, Air Force Research Lab, NM Army National Guard, SW Charter Schools, Commemorative Air Force, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, AOPA, Aspen Avionics, Sandia National Labs, Eastern New Mexico University, Civil Air Patrol, Santa Fe Aero Services, Sandia Aerospace, CNM, DeVore Aviation, 377th Air Base Wing, Higher Calling Aviation, 58th Special Operations Wing, Boeing/Jeppesen, AeroTec, Vertigo Airshows and many other General Aviation aircraft and pilots.
