Jet Edge Continues Fleet Expansion

Adds Multiple G200s To Its Large Cabin Luxury Gulfstream Fleet

Charter company Jet Edge has expanded its G200 fleet by being awarded the management of up to eight Gulfstream 200s. The deal calls for five G200s to be immediately delivered to Jet Edge for management with another three by August 2014.

"We identified significant value in the G200 market toward the end of 2013 and decided to capitalize on that value. This was a unique deal in that our broad large cabin owner base collectively funded the opportunity under a separate entity versus utilizing institutional capital. In this way, we maintain our standard business model of managing aircraft and receive the flexibility of ownership,” says Bill Papariella, President of Jet Edge International.

Based in the northeast and southwest, the new G200 fleet will come with complimentary flight attendant services, WIFI, talk and text, apple TV and completely refurbished interiors and exteriors. The fleet will be a mix of 10 and 9 passenger seating configurations.

“The G200s are a perfect complement to our growing fleet of 25+ large cabin Gulfstreams within the U.S., and provides another Gulfstream fleet type for our client base. We will operate the G200s in the same manner as our heavy jet Gulfstream fleet wherein each plane will be cared for by dedicated flight crew and attendants to ensure our customer servicing is always above and beyond,” stated Papariella.
