AV-ED Flight School Selected As Latest Diamond Flight Center

Will Hold January 19 Open House To Celebrate

AV-ED Flight School, Inc., President Dr. Don Robb announced this week the company has been appointed as the first Diamond Flight Center in Northern Virginia.

"We are very excited to be named a Diamond Flight Center," Robb said. "People who have purchased new Diamond Aircraft can now conduct their training near home rather than having to travel up to Canada. We are particularly excited about the addition of our new Garmin G1000 equipped Diamond DA42 twin diesel engine aircraft."

The undisputed "star" of AV-ED's training fleet is their brand new Diamond DA42-TDI Twin Star.

"The DA42 is without a doubt the smoothest airplane I have ever flown," he said. "This is an absolutely beautiful piece of equipment and it"s easy to fly. That"s what our students are looking for " truly modern aircraft that are easy and fun to fly. That"s what the DA42 delivers."

On January 19, AV-ED, Dominion Aircraft Sales and Diamond Aircraft will host an open house including static display of the entire Diamond fleet along with Free "How To Seminars," including how students can obtain a pilot's license, add an instrument rating, learn about the latest Garmin G1000 avionics or earn their multi-engine rating. All are welcome to pre-register for these free seminar, and door prizes will include a free flight in the new Diamond Twin Star.
