DAC Receives FAA AML For ADS-B Out STC

Authorizes Installation On Multiple Part 25 Aircraft

DAC International, a subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings LP, has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installing an ADS-B Out system utilizing the Becker Avionics BXT6553 transponders into eligible Part 25 aircraft.

The Becker BXT family’s latest version Mode S transponder, the 6553, is designed specifically for full interoperability with existing TCAS II systems, as well as ADS-B compliance. The BXT Mode S transponder provides a much-needed alternative to traditional Mode S suppliers in business, commercial TCAS II operations, as well as any place TCAS II systems are in use such as business jets and air transport operations, both civil and military.

The AML List includes the following: Bombardier CL-6002B16 and CL-601-3A/R, Dassault Falcon 900EX, EMB-135BJ, Gulfstream G-IV, GIV-X, BAE 125 Series 800A/B, BAE Series 1000A/B, Hawker 800/800xp/1000, Cessna 550/560/560XL/XLS, Citation 650/680/750 and Learjet 45.

“We’re really excited to be able to now offer this STC to our customers worldwide. This STC provides a cost-effective solution to meet the ADS-B compliance” said Cisco Hernandez, president of DAC International.
