Rhode Island Airport Corporation Hosts Virtual Town Hall on General Aviation

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) has announced a virtual town hall meeting set for April 17, focusing on the state's general aviation airports.

Open to public officials and the general public, the session will provide updates on Rhode Island's airport infrastructure, including Block Island, Newport, North Central, Quonset, and Westerly State Airports.

Formed in 1992, RIAC is responsible for overseeing all civil airports, landing areas, navigation facilities, and aviation schools in the state. The meeting aims to foster engagement between RIAC and stakeholders, offering insights into the progress and development of the state's aviation facilities. The event will be held via Zoom, with access details available on the Rhode Island Secretary of State's website and the RIAC official site on the day of the meeting.
