17th Annual VFS Electric Aircraft Symposium Itinerary Announced

Oshkosh Event to Host AAM Luminaries

The Vertical Flight Society (VFS) is a non-profit technical organization dedicated to the advancement of vertical flight.

The VFS made known the itinerary for its 17th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium—the premier electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL), Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL), Conventional Take-Off and Landing (CTOL), and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) event at EAA’s world-renowned AirVenture Oshkosh.

Speakers slated to present at the 22-23 July VFS event include:

AAM Interagency Working Group

  • Annie Petsonk: Assistant Secretary for Aviation and International Affairs, US Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Peter Irvine: Deputy Director, Office of Aviation Analysis, and Executive Lead for Aviation Policy (DOT).

  • $245.00: In-person (non-VFS-members).
  • $200.00: Speakers and VFS members.
  • $150.00: Virtual Attendance.
  • $25.00: Virtual Attendance for VFS student members.

Established in 1943 as the American Helicopter Society by the visionaries of the early helicopter industry, the Vertical Flight Society espouses the belief that technological cooperation and collaboration are essential to the development and proliferation of new aircraft technologies and types. As the American Helicopter Society championed the advent and rise of the conventional helicopter, so the Vertical Flight Society fosters the advancement of today’s revolutionary rotorcraft.
