Tyson Technologies, Inc. has announced the
release of Airport Scheduler +, a software solution for Fixed-Base
Operators to facilitate rental aircraft scheduling and pilot record
keeping. Airport Scheduler + was created to help the FBO keep track
of pilots, instructors, aircraft and schedules. It was designed to
be simple and easy to use, but still be powerful enough to fulfill
the demands of everyday airport scheduling needs for all operation
sizes. It is completely self-contained and does not rely on
internet access or dedicated phone lines. The FBO has complete
control of the schedule.
Pilots/Instructors: The Pilot Module will
enable the FBO to keep track of the pilot’s licenses,
ratings, certificates, and endorsements. The user can designate a
pilot as an instructor to allow them to be scheduled with a
student. Pilot documentation such as license, physical, photo ID,
etc. can be scanned into the system. This will allow the FBO to
keep the required documentation on file electronically.
Students: The Student Module will enable
the FBO to keep track of students and their progress. Documentation
such as student license/physical, photo ID, etc. can be scanned
into the system. Like the Pilot Module, this will allow the FBO to
keep the required documentation on file electronically.
Aircraft: The Aircraft Module will keep
information about the aircraft and help the FBO keep track of
important dates, such as annual, transponder check, ELT battery
replacement, etc and will display alerts to warn the user.
Schedule: The system will use the information
entered into the various modules to enable the user to schedule
pilots, instructors and aircraft. The system will prevent aircraft
from being double booked for any time period. The user can create
various reports that show the schedule. Aircraft Scheduler + is a
complete software package. It is priced at $400.00 and is available
now. Hardware components can be supplied as well as complete
turnkey systems.
