CAE Signs Partnership Agreement With Gulf Aviation Academy

Will Offer Additional Embraer 170/190 Training In Europe

CAE and Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA) have entered into a partnership to offer additional Embraer 170/190 training services in Europe.

CAE will be relocating GAA's CAE-built Embraer 170/190 full-flight simulator and flight training device from Bahrain to CAE's training centre in Amsterdam in order to cater to increased demand for Embraer 170/190 training in Europe. The CAE Amsterdam training centre already houses an Embraer 170/190 FFS and also offers training for the following platforms: Fokker 50, Fokker 70/100, ATR 42/72, A300 and B737. GAA, based in Bahrain, will continue offering its customers training on its CAE-built A320 and A330 simulators.

"We are excited about this agreement with CAE which allows us to offer quality training solutions to our existing client airlines as well as airlines in Europe where demand for Embraer 170/190 training is currently higher than in the Middle East," said Captain Dhaffer Al Abbasi, Chief Executive Officer, GAA.

"This is a win-win agreement, for CAE, GAA and for our customers," said Nick Leontidis, CAE's Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. " We are happy to be able to find solutions for our airline customers worldwide and continue to position CAE as the training partner of choice."
