CPS Announces Rotax Four Stroke Operator Seminar

Four Stroke Seminar January 22-24, 2006

On January 22-24, 2006 CPS will also be hosting a Rotax 912-914 operator Seminar covering all aspects of four cycle installation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance. Rotax factory Trained T Technician Eric Tucker will conduct this hands-on rebuild of the Rotax 912. Subjects covered include:

  • Rotax history and development in the aircraft engine market.
  • In depth discussions on four stroke engine theory and design.
  • Rotax engine designations and identification
  • Bing Carburetion theory and maintenance on Rotax
  • Ducati ignition systems theory and maintenance.
  • Gearbox selection, maintenance, and theory.

Students will also participate in a complete engine rebuild, disassembly and discuss correct procedures and maintenance for the 4 stroke series.

Participates will be supplied all printed material including all Rotax Parts, Service, and Service Bulletin Manuals. While the seminar is open to anyone, this 20-hour course can qualify companies to be eligible for Rotax Repair Station status.

Individuals wishing to qualify for Rotax Repair Station status will be given priority booking. These individuals will be able to register before November 10, 2005. After November 10th registration will be open to the general public. Class size is strictly limited. Registration must be guaranteed with a credit card number. Credit cards will be pre-approved but not be charged until all seats are filled.

Notice: This class is designed for advanced users, Rotax repair station qualifications, and OEM training only. Material would likely be too advanced for new or casual users of Rotax engines.
