FlightSafety’s Falcon 2000LSX Sim Receives FAA, EASA Level D Certification

Flight Training System Located At Center In Paris, France

The FAA and EASA have approved Level D certification to FlightSafety International for its Dassault Falcon 2000LXS simulator.

“Offering training for the Falcon 2000LXS aircraft at the Paris Center using our Level D qualified simulator further demonstrates FlightSafety’s commitment and ability to provide the highest quality training designed to meet the specific needs of our Customers,” said David Davenport, Executive Vice President.

The Falcon 2000LXS training program includes initial, recurrent and update training for pilots, maintenance technicians, and flight attendants. The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator features EASy II Second Cert avionics including Datalink, and will offer convertible capabilities between ELBIT and Rockwell Collins for Head-Up Display, Enhanced Visual System, and Emergency Vision Assurance System. The Elbit HUD also includes Combined Vision System (CVS). CVS, also called “Falconeye”, improves situational awareness and safety regardless of the time of day or weather conditions. The simulator is equipped with FlightSafety’s latest advances in technology including a new multi-function Instructor Operating Station, electric motion control and cueing, and VITAL 1100 visual system.

FlightSafety’s Paris-Le Bourget Center provides training for the Dassault Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20/20-5 Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX EASy/DX/LX, Falcon 2000/EX, Falcon 2000EX EASy/DX/LX/S, Falcon 2000LXS, and Falcon 7X. The center also offers training for the Embraer EMB 120, ERJ 145, Legacy 600/650, E-Jets 170/190, and Lineage 1000. A wide variety of courses for maintenance technicians and flight attendants are also available in Paris.
