Chipper Aerospace has publicly unveiled an easy-to-build ultralight with the introduction of the Chipper SS (Single Seat). James Wiebe, Belite/Chipper’s president and CEO, debuted the Chipper, which can be built as either a Part 103 ultralight or Experimental airplane.
The Chipper SS Kit is introduced at $8,500. The Trojan Phlyers Flight Demonstration Team has selected Trig Avionics for their ADS-B and VHF avionics. The Trojan Phlyers can be seen at displays across the summer, as a salute to T-28 veterans past and present. ForeFlight has introduced a free companion app that lets passengers connect to the pilot’s device, follow along with the flight, and know when they can expect to arrive.
