FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS MISSISSIPPI COASTLINE. EFFECTIVE 0509122100 UTC (09/12 1600L) UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. PURSUANT TO 14 CFR SECTION 91.137(A)(2), TEMPORARY FLIGHT RESTRICT- IONS ARE IN EFFECT WITHIN THE AREA BOUNDED BY: 303455N/0893748W OR THE PICAYUNE /PCU/ VOR/DME 072 DEGREE RADIAL AT 5.3 TO 304324N/ 0882455W OR THE SEMMES /SJI/ VORTAC 262 DEGREE RADIAL AT 2.9 NAUTICAL MILES TO 301831N/0882421W OR THE SEMMES /SJI/ VORTAC 181 DEGREE RADIAL AT 25 NAUTICAL MILES TO 301219N/0893422W OR THE PICAYUNE /PCU/ VOR/DME 154 DEGREE RADIAL AT 22.8 NAUTICAL MILES BACK TO ORIGINAL POINT AT AND BELOW 5000 FEET MSL TO PROVIDE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR HURRICANE KATRINA DISASTER RELIEF RELATED OPERA- TIONS. ALL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE DESIGNATED AIRSPACE UNLESS FLIGHTS MEET AT LEAST ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: (A) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE LIFEGUARD/MEDICAL, SEARCH AND RESCUE, LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR OTHER FLIGHTS IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF FEMA HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORTS, (B) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE DOD FLIGHTS IN SUPPORT OF JOINT TASK FORCE KATRINA, (C) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS CARRYING PROPERLY ACCREDITED NEWS REPRESENTATIVES AND, PRIOR TO ENTERING DESIGNATED AIRSPACE, A END PART 1 OF 3

FDC 5/8276 ZHU PART 2 OF 3 FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS MISSISSIPPI COASTLINE. FLIGHT PLAN IS FILED WITH ATC AND FLIGHT IS CONDUCTED ABOVE THE ALTITUDE USED BY RELIEF RELATED AIRCRAFT UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY ATC, (D) AIRCRAFT OPERATION IS FLIGHT DIRECTLY TO OR FROM AIRPORT WITHIN THE AREA OR IS NECESSITATED BY IMPRACTICABILITY OF VFR FLIGHT ABOVE OR AROUND THE AREA DUE TO WEATHER OR TERRAIN AS LONG AS PRIOR COORDINATION WITH THE AFSS OR ATC FACILITY NOTED BELOW IS EFFECTED TO RECEIVE ADVISORIES REGARDING DISASTER RELIEF FLIGHTS IN AREA, OPERATION DOES NOT HAMPER OR ENDAGNER RELIEF FLIGHTS, AND FLIGHT IS NOT CONDUCTED FOR PURPOSE OF OBSERVING DISASTER AREA, (E) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE AUTHORIZED BY ATC AND ARE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AN ATC APPROVED IFR FLIGHT PLAN. FOR FLIGHT SAFETY, ALL NON-RELIEF RELATED AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS MUST REMAIN AT LEAST 500 FEET ABOVE OR 1500 FEET LATERALLY FROM ALL DISASTER RELIEF AIRCRAFT AND AT LEAST 500 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL EXCEPT FOR TAKEOFF AND LANDING UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY ATC. GULFPORT AND MOBILE APPROACH/TOWERS ARE FULLY OPER- ATIONAL. THEREFORE, ALL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS IN AIRSPACE DESIGNATED BY THIS TFR MUST CONTACT THE GPT APPROACH ON 124.6 END PART 2 OF 3

FDC 5/8276 ZHU PART 3 OF 3 FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS MISSISSIPPI COASTLINE. (WEST OF THE AIRPORT) OR 127.5 (EAST OF THE AIRPORT). ALL FIXED WING AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS LANDING AT GPT MUST CONTACT THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM COMMAND CENTER FOR A SLOT RE- SERVATION AT 703-904-4452. THE FAA COORDINATION FACILITY IS GREENWOOD AFSS 662-453-5210 (PRIMARY) OR 662-453-5557 (BACKUP). FAA RECOMMENDS THAT AIRCRAFT OPERATORS CHECK NOTAMS FREQUENTLY FOR POSSIBLE CHANGES TO THIS TFR PRIOR TO OPER- ATIONS WITHIN THIS AREA. END PART 3 OF 3
