Former Wrestler, Governor Of Minnesota, Refuses To Fly

Says He's Not Flying Commercial Until TSA Changes Search Procedures

A well-known former professional wrestler and Governor of Minnesota said last Friday on a national radio show that he will no longer be flying commercial airlines because of TSA's search procedures.

Jesse Ventura appeared as a guest on the Alex Jones Show on Friday, and in an excerpt from the show posted on its website, Ventura said he will be avoiding public aircraft as long as the full body scans and "enhanced" pat-down procedures are in place. He told Jones that as a former governor, mayor, and Vietnam veteran that he should not "have to prove I am not a murderer" every time he gets on an airplane. He said his decision not to fly on commercial airliners is a personal choice.

Ventura said he was "getting too comfortable being searched" for living in a free society. He said that the only time a citizen should be searched is if there is probable cause and the searching authority has a warrant.
