Smuggler's Blues: 'Artfully Concealed' Razors Found At HIA

Man Says They May Have Been In His Bag, But They Weren't His

Authorities are investigating a 34-year old man arrested at Harrisburg International Airport in Pennsylvania, accused of trying to smuggle four double-edged razor blades through airport security.

Sajid Tufail Kahn, who's 34, told authorities the blades weren't his, according to the TSA. Screeners say he tried to slip past then at around 5:30 Tuesday morning, according to airport spokesman Scott Miller who spoke with reporters from the York Daily Record.

Miller said there was no immediate indication as to what Kahn was doing in Harrisburg.

Federal authorities reportedly did an extensive background check on Kahn and found nothing.

"Security worked," Miller said. "They caught it and prevented it from getting on the airplane. That’s the way the system’s supposed to work."
