Gulfstream To Showcase Three Aircraft At Jet Expo 2012

G150, G450, G550 To Be On Display As Moscow Event

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will display three of its business jets at the seventh annual Jet Expo Russian International Business Aviation Exhibition being held Sept. 27-29 at Vnukovo-3 Airport near Moscow. The show will feature the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150, the large-cabin, long-range G450 and the large-cabin, ultra-long-range G550.

During a media briefing planned for Thursday, Gulfstream executives will discuss the certifications of the company’s two new aircraft, the Gulfstream G650 and G280, enhancements to the company’s worldwide support network and other news.

Gulfstream will also conduct an on-site Operators Forum on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to provide updates and technical presentations on maintenance and operational subjects relevant to Gulfstream operators in Russia. "The number of Gulfstream aircraft in Russia has grown considerably over the past several years," said Larry Flynn, president, Gulfstream. "Since 2007, the Gulfstream fleet in the country has grown six times over. All of our aircraft are well-represented and ideally suited to the diverse needs of the Russian market.”

One of the most popular Gulfstream aircraft in Russia, the G550, can fly nonstop from Moscow to nearly every major city thanks to its 12,500-km range. For example, the G550 can fly from Moscow to São Paulo or from Moscow to Perth, Australia, nonstop. The G150 can fly 5,500 km at Mach 0.75, meaning someone can fly into London City from Moscow in the morning, conduct business in the city and be home for dinner that night.

"In addition to seeing our aircraft, Jet Expo attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about our worldwide product support network," Flynn said.
