Tropical Aviation Distributors is part of Africair, the highly regarded and well-known Thrush dealer for Africa. This new distributorship, along with several others soon to be announced, are part of a strategic worldwide growth plan for Thrush, which focuses on facilitating easy access to the company’s products in their customers' own language and region.

Payne Hughes, president of Thrush Aircraft, stated: “Africair has successfully organized and developed the African market for Thrush Aircraft since becoming our distributor there. I’m very pleased to expand their territory at this time, and all of us  here in Albany look forward to working with them in this vibrant region. Our expanding distributor network is a direct reflection of our growing market share around the world, and our dedication to supporting our customers, and their aircraft, wherever they fly.”

Jim Evans, CEO of Africair/TAD stated: “We are very excited about the expansion of our area of representation for Thrush. TAD has long standing relationships with many of the agricultural spray operators in the Caribbean and South America, and we look forward to further supporting the industry as Thrush’s sales representatives. Juan J. Phillips will head up our activities in the regions, and he is known throughout the industry as an expert in agricultural aircraft. As Thrush Aircraft’s representatives, we have committed ourselves to providing superior service, competitive pricing, and world class technical support to our existing and future customers.”
