Banyan Acquires Dare To FLY Fashion Apparel

Deal Includes Exclusive Distribution Rights

Banyan Pilot Shop announced its acquisition of Dare to FLY Fashion, the internationally-recognized aviation apparel brand founded by designer and pilot Jen Toplak.

The apparel is known for its high quality and sophisticated, edgy designs that celebrate the passion for aviation  and with this deal, Banyan will be the exclusive distributor of Dare to FLY. The brand was launched by designer and pilot Jen Toplak after she created the iconic Chicks FLY t-shirt to raise funds for the scholarship program of the International Organization of Women Pilots.

The tee became a sensation and an international fashion “must-have,” and Jen expanded to include hats, shirts, and a variety of accessories that reflect a unique blend of aviation, artistry, and modern aesthetics that will now be available at the world’s largest pilot shop.

To remain true to Dare to FLY’s philanthropic mission, a portion of all proceeds will continue to support aviation scholarships, promoting Jen’s vision of inspiring others to pursue their aviation dreams.

Katherine Koch, Banyan Pilot Shop Manager said, “Jen’s artistic talent and her deep connection to aviation have made Dare to FLY a brand that resonates with pilots and aviation enthusiasts worldwide. As a fellow member of The Ninety-Nines, Inc., I have had the privilege of knowing Jen since the creation of this remarkable brand. I am proud to see how successful Jen has been with Dare to FLY and honored to continue its legacy at Banyan Pilot Shop. We look forward to advocating for women in aviation through these products and supporting Jen’s original mission.”
