On the heels of their announcement of an unprecedented 116 new aircraft orders for
the month of November, Cirrus Design Corporation
announced Thursday plans have been finalized to open their first
Cirrus sales center in China. The inaugural China sales center will
open at the General Aviation airport in Shanghai during the first
half of February, 2006.
The hard-working and long-suffering gnomes that publish ANN will
finally get to take a short holiday break this week [we gnomes
thank you --ed]. ANN's normal DAILY news will be presented through
December 24th, and will then be on a brief Holiday
schedule, December 25th and 26th.

Representatives from General Electric told Aero-News Friday that

commercial engines, the GE90 and GEnx, with more than 750 engines

Wellington refused to be taken aboard a rescue helicopter due to
the man's fear of heights. The man was later rescued -- by a
boat.
