Sporty's Offers Way For Pilots To Practice On Avionics

Power Supply Offers Hours Of Juice

There's no better way to become proficient with your new glass cockpit or panel-mount GPS or to prepare for tomorrow's flight than sitting in the actual airplane with the avionics running. The problem is that your airplane battery won't last.

Sporty's has a solution. The company states its Power Supply provides consistent, regulated power to the airplane so you can spend hours in the cockpit. The Power Supply comes complete with appropriate connector in either the 3-pin or single pin Piper style. One end of the Power Supply plugs into a standard 110V outlet, while the other end plugs into your airplane's external power outlet.

Sporty's also claims its Power Supply is a great tool to recharge an airplane's battery... and its light, 8-lb weight makes it an ideal product to take with you in your airplane. It might even save a jump when traveling away from home.

Available exclusively from Sporty's and made in the USA, the Power Supply comes in a carrying case with optional personalized embroidery (up to six characters). The Power Supply is available for $399.00 in 12V [#6542A] and 24V [#8463A] models.

With corporate activities in every segment of general aviation, Sporty's conducts flight training, performs aircraft maintenance, operates an avionics shop and sells new Cessna aircraft.
