Sherwin Williams Accepting Submissions for 2024 Calendar

Defining a Hierarchy of Liveries

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings is accepting entries for its 2024 Aerospace Coatings calendar, a yearly undertaking by dint of which the company showcases eye-catching aircraft paint schemes and exterior finishes executed with Sherwin-Williams coatings.

Submissions may be of any aircraft type—from business, regional, and commercial jets to kit planes, helicopters, military aircraft, etc. The annual calendar program recognizes outstanding works of designers; providers of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services; and aircraft painters from across North America utilizing Sherwin-Williams brand products in their OEM and repaint facilities.

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings global marketing manager Julie Voisin set forth: “Each year our calendar program grows in popularity and continues to represent the pinnacle of exceptional design and paint production excellence. We are honored that our annual calendar program showcases the scheme designers and paint craftsmen of the aviation industry and the incredible works of art they create.”

Aircraft submitted for consideration must be finished exclusively in Sherwin-Williams brand topcoats. Entries must also include professional photography of the aircraft showing multiple angles and any custom details. Selection for the calendar is predicated upon finish quality, technical difficulty, design originality, and artistic merit.

Submissions will be accepted through 15 September 2023. Entrants selected for inclusion in the Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings 2024 calendar will be notified in November.

For more than ninety-years, Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has remained among the world’s most trusted manufacturers of aerospace coatings. The first aircraft coated by the company was Charles Lindbergh’s storied Spirit of St. Louis, the custom-built, single-engine, single-seat, high-wing monoplane in which legendary aviator made his historic, 1927 New York to Paris flight—the first nonstop, solo North Atlantic crossing made in an aircraft.

As a long-time innovator in the field of protective coatings, Sherwin-Williams Aerospace delivers quality aircraft paint and coating solutions and technical support at every phase of the design engineering process.
