Aero-TV: Drone Juggernaut, DJI - The CES 2017 Product Update

An Update On All Things DJI…

In the drone business, DJI is the manufacturer that people look to for innovation and market smarts. While at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas in January 2017, ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, spoke with the Head U.S. Spokesman for DJI, Adam Lisberg.

Lisberg started off by giving us an introduction to some of DJI’s latest products, including the Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 Pro, and then on to their professional level drone, the Inspire 2. Lisberg goes into details about these products and how each one carves out its unique place in their line of drone products.

Lisberg says one of the things DJI is trying to achieve in the industry is to make things easier. He likens it to a photographer 30 years ago that had to know technical details of photography compared to modern cameras that are simply point-and-shoot. According to Lisberg that’s what DJI is after.

During the video, Jim and Lisberg also converse about how DJI is fitting into different commercial operations. In the video you’ll see lots of flying activity and there’s some great insight into the new exciting world of drone aviation.
