Aviation Tutorials: $1000 Software Donation To Ninety-Nines

Aviation Tutorials Company, LLC has donated one thousand dollars worth of its interactive navigation training software to the Silent Auction of The Ninety-Nines International Women Pilots Annual Fall Conference. The Auction, held Oct 3-5, 2003 in Lancaster (CA), assists the organization in raising funds to further the educational goals established by The Ninety-Nines.

Aviation Tutorials President, Steve McNeilly, wrote, "Scholarships and educational programs have helped build our country into the nation it is today. Work performed by The Ninety-Nines and other organizations is critical for our future. Aviation Tutorials Company is proud to support The Ninety-Nines in this effort, because future generations must have access to assistance and programs that will help ensure their future. We’re very glad to work with The Ninety-Nines, and we hope that our products can help achieve these goals."

Aviation Tutorials donated The Navigation CD-ROM ($99.00), which teaches pilots how to navigate using VOR, NDB, GPS, HSI, and RMI navigation methods, in an interactive, point-and-click environment. The second product, VOR/NDB Simulator ($69.00), lets pilots practice and perfect real-time "in-flight" navigation and visualization skills. The third product, Getting Around On The Ground ($29.00), teaches airport-surface navigation and prevention of runway incursions.
