C-Astral Aerospace Introduces SQA eVTOL Drone

Next-Gen Tactical UAV For Advanced Military And Commercial Applications

C-Astral Aerospace Australia introduces its new SQA eVTOL drone system, a next-gen tactical UAV designed for advanced commercial and military applications, providing real-time intelligence and seamless operational capabilities.

The NATO-approved SQA drone is now fully supported in Australia, to include comprehensive training, spare parts, and expert assistance.

The system is built for military applications, that is, very durable, but they are also excellent in civilian operations such as search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, aerial surveillance, tracking, mapping, cell phone interception, text message broadcast, and LiDAR scanning.

Specific features include

  • Rapid Assembly and Disassembly: Fully operational in under 5 minutes without need for tools
  • Quick-Swap Power: Batteries easily replaced in under 2 minutes
  • Advanced Command Software: C3P software features an intuitive touch-screen interface with full mid-flight re-tasking capability
  • Autonomous Operation: System is fully autonomous with onboard autopilot enabling auto-takeoff, flight, and landing
  • Streamlined Training: Training available on-site or at manufacturer’s location in Slovenia; up to 6 operators can be trained in 3-4 days with all personnel achieving full qualification to operate the SQA system
  • Versatile Payload Options: Supports Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), mapping cameras, lidar, multispectral, and FPV camera

The drone system has a standard endurance of 2.5 hours extendable to 3 with optional high-capacity batteries. It operates efficiently in temps from -20C to +55C, light rain, and moderate wind.

The SQA drone also operates completely off-grid, independent of GPS, internet, and GSM, requiring only radio connectivity with the provided secure radios. A kit with essential spare parts enables basic repairs in the field with included instruction. The drone is also equipped with countermeasures to mitigate signal jamming threats.
