One Lost In Bangladeshi F-7 Mishap

Pilot Okay As Fighter Ploughs Into Homes, Businesses

One woman was killed Tuesday when an F-7 fighter flown by the Bangladeshi Air Force went down in the outskirts of Dhaka. There was no immediate word on the cause of the mishap.

"The pilot ejected himself unhurt when the Chinese-made fighter F-7 crashed at Fayedabad near Dhaka international airport," an armed forces spokesman told Reuters.

The crash sparked a fire that burned six shanty homes. Four people were injured.
