ANN AEA2012 Sponsor With A New Name -- Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics
Same Team. New Name.

Same team. Brand new name.

Mid-Continent Instruments is now Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics. The company is expanding its dealer-only overhaul and repair capabilities! The new name better describes the company’s capabilities and underscores its commitment to provide customers with a full range of services supporting avionics systems, instruments and power solutions.

The expanded avionics services include weather radar repair and recertification, navigational and communication systems, and similar products manufactured by Honeywell/Bendix-King and Rockwell Collins.

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is an industry leader in the overhaul/exchange, repair, design and manufacture of aircraft instruments, avionics and power solutions for OEM forward fit and aftermarket installations.

With facilities in Wichita, Kansas and Van Nuys, California, Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics serves customers worldwide.

True Blue Power® is an innovator in the design and manufacture of next-generation power solutions. Current production includes aircraft inverters, batteries and emergency power supplies. True Blue Power products combine revolutionary technology with superior quality, ingenuity and decades of experience.

True Blue Power TI1200 Static Inverter

The produces 115 volts at 60 Hz for 1200 watts of “wall outlet” power from an aircraft’s 28 VDC input. It powers high-tech cabin solutions, including in-flight entertainment systems, on-board galleys, or devices such as emergency medical and law enforcement equipment. At 7.3 pounds, the TI1200 provides a higher level of power per pound than larger and heavier competing inverters for which it is a “drop-in” replacement and can be installed without requiring additional wiring or mounting.

True Blue Power TS835-5 28-volt lithium Emergency Power Supply

The True Blue Power TS835-5 28-volt lithium Emergency Power Supply features an integrated 5-volt output for special lighting requirements. It’s Friendly Lithium™ cell chemistry allows the TS835-5 to be 66% lighter than lead-acid designs with an improved 10-year life expectancy, resulting in a lower cost of ownership. It is a direct replacement for the heavier, lead-acid PS-855, utilizing the same rack, connector, wire harness and OFF/ARM/TEST switch.

True Blue Power TT43 Battery Tester and Charger

The True Blue Power TT43 Battery Tester and Charger is new and improved. The compact test set was created to specifically test and charge Mid-Continent’s 4300 Series Lifesaver® and TS420 Series battery packs. The TT43 can charge two batteries simultaneously and comes equipped with a microcontroller that allows technicians to vary the definition of the batteries being tested or charged.
