COVID Consequences: NBAA Postpones 2022 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference

Will Now Take Place April 5-7, 2022 At The San Diego Convention Center

The most recent concerns about the latest COVID variant (of others to come, or so the virologists say...) is causing a number of organizations to rethink their plans to get together any time soon... and the latest casualty comes, reluctantly, from the folks of NBAA.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has announced the postponement of the 2022 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC2022), which was scheduled for Jan. 18-21, 2022, in San Diego, CA, and will now take place April 5-7, 2022, at the San Diego Convention Center.

In announcing this decision, NBAA noted the fluid situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19).

“With the recent emergence of the Omicron variant there is a lot we are still learning about this virus,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.

“Moving the conference from immediately after the holiday season will provide us with a firmer understanding of this situation so we can ensure appropriate safety protocols are in place as we move forward with our exciting and dynamic 2022 events.”
