Float Like Neil Armstrong With Special Weightless Flight Honoring Apollo 11

Zero Gravity Corporation Invites Space Fans To Join Famed Astronaut Scott Kelly For An Out-Of-This-World Flight Experience

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Apollo 11 lunar landing in 1969, Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G) will take fans of the cosmos where few have gone before. Taking off July 20 from Space Florida's Launch and Landing Facility (formerly the NASA Shuttle Landing Facility) at the Cape Canaveral Spaceport, ZERO-G will offer Apollo enthusiasts the chance to experience the same weightlessness that Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong felt when they walked on the moon.

The historic Apollo 11 program paved the way for future research and development while opening the door to boundless discovery. The specialized anniversary flight will demonstrate the feeling of exploring the moon's surface by recreating lunar gravity and allowing riders to float with the ease of carrying one-sixth their normal body weight.

To mark the occasion, flyers will take off alongside retired NASA astronaut Scott Kelly on ZERO-G's specially modified Boeing 727, G-FORCE ONE. Selected to work with NASA in 1996, Kelly is a spaceflight record holder, a former United States Navy Captain and a New York Times bestselling author. The elite explorer is known around the world for his decades-long devotion to scientific discovery. Over the years, Kelly has traveled more than 200 million miles and has orbited the Earth more than 8,300 times.

"On the anniversary of Apollo 11's incredible adventure, I look forward to taking flight with ZERO-G," said Kelly. "If you are up for bouncing around under moon and Mars g-forces, come join me. It will be the trip of a lifetime!"

Talented ZERO-G pilots will perform a series of parabolic arcs while flying in a FAA designated airspace. At the top of each arc, flyers will soar through the plane in a floating playground, perform effortless tricks and flips and share a world known only by a small fraction of the population. While focusing mostly on lunar g-forces, the flight will also include several zero gravity and Martian gravity parabolas.

"We are honored to help celebrate this huge moment in the history of space exploration," said Terese Brewster, CEO of ZERO-G. "Advancements made by researchers on Apollo 11 allow us to continue to ask questions and learn about the world around us."
