Florida’s LuxAero Designs Readies for 14 November Grand Opening

At the Nexus of Art and Aerospace Engineering

Fort Pierce, Florida-based LuxAero Designs, is launching its online website and showroom in advance of a planned, 14 November 2023 grand opening event. The company specializes in designing and crafting custom furnishings made from reclaimed and repurposed aircraft parts.

LuxAero Designs was founded by Travis Stein, a flight instructor, former airline pilot, aircraft mechanic, and avid aviation enthusiast. Stein harbors a lifelong fascination vis-à-vis the beauty and engineering of airplanes, and sought means by which to afford aircraft new life following their respective retirements from service.

Mr. Stein remarked: "I love airplanes and saw all this incredible manufactured material no longer able to be part of a flying aircraft, so why not do something creative and fun? I started making some pieces for myself and my friends, and soon realized there is a demand for this type of unique and high-quality furniture."

LuxAero Designs sources materials from private aircraft sellers, auctions, and bone-yards. Stein and his team of craftsmen transform the parts into functional and stylish articles of furniture such as tables, chairs, lamps, shelves, and clocks.

All LuxAero pieces are one-of-a-kind and reflect the history and character of the aircraft of which they derive. Some pieces incorporate additional elements the likes of wood, metal, glass, leather, or fabric, for purpose of creating contrast and balance between the old and the new.

Mr. Stein added: "Our furniture is not only beautiful and durable, but also eco-friendly and sustainable. We are saving these parts from ending up in landfills or scrap yards and give them a new purpose and value."

LuxAero Designs offers both ready-made and bespoke furnishings. The company is capable of creating pieces based on customers’ preferences, specifications, and budgets. The company offers free consultations and estimates for custom orders.

LuxAero Designs' website features a selection of offerings depicted photographically and accompanied by comprehensive descriptions. Customers can review ideas and conceptions, and ultimately have their furniture shipped directly to their locations upon completion. The company also maintains a showroom at which customers may view and purchase furnishings in person.

LuxAero Designs’ grand opening will be held Tuesday, 14 November 2023.
