Signature Flight Support Inks Deal With ATP Flight School

Will Create A Nationwide Flight Support Program

Signature Flight Support recently signed an agreement with the nation’s largest flight training provider, ATP Flight School, for a nationwide, full-service flight support agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Signature Flight Support will be the preferred flight support partner for Avgas and piston aircraft ground support.

ATP’s fleet of over 330 aircraft have been registered in Signature’s system and will automatically qualify for the benefits afforded by the agreement. The program applies to aircraft that are either on instructor-led training missions or when a student is on a solo flight.

"Signature is pleased to reach this agreement with ATP Flight School and we look forward to welcoming new and seasoned pilots to our 130 plus locations across the United States," said Tony Lefebvre, Chief Operating Officer for Signature Flight Support and a private and commercially-rated pilot. "Signature is committed to supporting General Aviation and to helping the next generation of aviators and aviation professionals as they begin their aviation journey.”

Shawn Hall, Chief Commercial Officer also noted regarding his own aviation experience, “It all starts behind the yoke of a piston aircraft; my journey began at the age of 15 in a Cessna 150 and eventually led to becoming F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet instructor in the U.S. Navy," Hall said. "Signature Flight Support will do its part to keep general aviation flying and support aviation education."

"We are excited to formalize our relationship with Signature under this agreement and offer our students and instructors a simplified flight support solution that is matched with the professionalism they have come to expect while training with us," said Mark Butler, Director of Facilities for ATP Flight School. "As the leading supplier of pilots to the nation's regional airlines, fostering and expanding our relationship with other like-minded brands, such as Signature, is paramount in helping achieve our mission of providing students with the most efficient paths to successful airline careers."

Signature Flight Support is exhibiting at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida this week.
