Heli-Lynx To Launch 'Seeing Is Believing' Campaign At Heli-Expo

Promises To Show Operators How To Be More Productive

Heli-Lynx Helicopters announced this week it will launch its new "Seeing is Believing" marketing campaign at Heli-Expo 2009, and showing prospective customers several ways to increase their productivity and efficiency.

"With the economy being so uncertain, choosing Heli-Lynx as your aviation support company could be the most important and economical decision you make in 2009," said president and CEO Mike Whitter. "Our innovative and comprehensive product and service offerings can truly help your aircraft become more reliable, efficient, and productive. That's where 'Seeing is Believing' came from. We guarantee any operator who spends five minutes talking to us or examining our products will discover we have several ways to help them succeed."

At Heli-Expo, those five minutes can be spent in Heli-Lynx's FX Challenge, which takes place at its main booth (762), and feature prizes for any operator that passes the test. The company is also flying a Eurocopter AS335-based 355FX to the show to be on display at its static booth (5 and 6) so operators can see the benefits for themselves.

"We're very proud of the fact that we fly our ships down every year," said Whitter. "They are real, working helicopters, not show pieces. This particular 355FX is for sale and ready to work. Any interested operator can take delivery soon after the show, and start enjoying its benefits almost immediately."

That newly refurbished 355FX2R is multi-mission-configured and features the Sagem Avionics Inc. Integrated Cockpit Display System dual-display glass cockpit, integrated by Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services North America. This glass cockpit's installation is a first for the 355FX STC and its integration was the result of a partnership between Vector and Heli-Lynx.

Said Elvis Moniz, director of operations for Vector Langley's structures and avionics facility, "We are very pleased to have worked with Heli-Lynx on further improving their successful 355FX STC. This glass cockpit makes the 355FX a more modern and even more reliable helicopter than it already was."

Heli-Lynx focuses on development of aftermarket products for the Eurocopter AS350 and AS355 series aircraft. Over 60 350FX STCs and 15 355FX STCs are currently flying on four different continents.
