Zero-G Snags $13M Space Force Contract

Eleven Parabolic Flights For STARCOM Azimuth Program

Zero Gravity Corporation, a provider of parabolic flights, announced it has been awarded a $13 million contract with the U.S. Space Force to support the Azimuth Program of the Space Training and Readiness Command, or STARCOM, to provide eleven flights in 2025 with options for more flights in each of the next three years.

The Azimuth Program is a nationwide undergraduate space education and training program based and conducted in Colorado. It is a joint program that prepares cadets and midshipmen from the ROTC, and the Naval, Military, and Air Force Academies who intend to commission into the U.S. Space Force. By introducing challenging concepts early it reduces the Space Force post-commissioning Officer Training Course risk.

Parabolic flights executed by Zero-G provide cadets and researchers with unique microgravity environments to conduct experiments and training that are critical to developing advanced space capabilities required by the Space Force.

Kevin Sproge, Zero-G’s CEO said, “Zero-G is honored to partner with the U.S. Space Force to support the Azimuth Program and the United States' national interests in space. Our parabolic flights offer a proven platform for microgravity research and training, and we are excited to contribute to the development of the next generation of Space Force Guardians.”

Zero-G will use its modified Boeing 727, G-FORCE ONE, for the parabolic flights which create short periods of weightlessness through precisely executed parabolic maneuvers.
