Shadin Announces New S/W Mods For Serial Converter Used In EFB/FMS Installations

Shadin Avionics announces modifications to the software in the Shadin 429 Hs/Ls to Serial converter P/N 933612-02. This popular converter is utilized in Electronic flight bag (EFB) and Flight Management (EMS) installations.

"This software upgrade now expands the capability of this converter to interface with the MX-20, GMX-2000 and the latest UNS1 Flight Management system, said Robert Randall, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Shadin Avionics.

"This is a prime example of how Shadin is constantly updating its tools to keep pilots as technically advanced as possible."

The upgrade is free of charge to all converters under warranty; otherwise the price for upgrade is $600.00 MSRP. Since 1978, Shadin Avionics has specialized in the design, manufacture, support and distribution of Fuel Flow Systems, Engine Trend Monitoring (ETM), Altitude Management Systems, Air Data Computers (ADC), Converters and other instrumentation for turbine, piston and rotor aircraft for the military, general and corporate aviation markets.
