ANN Publishes Extensive AEA2012 Convention Presentations

Nearly 30 "New Product Introduction" Presentations Already Uploaded To YouTube And Other Syndication Portals -- More On The Way!

In cooperation with the staff and leadership of the Aircraft Electronics Association, the Aero-News Network is now uploading carefully edited, individual 'bite-sized' programs from this month's massive Aircraft Electronics Association Convention and Trade Show.

The 55th Annual AEA International Convention & Trade Show was held at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland and presented what AEA touted as, "a unique opportunity to connect with manufacturers, distributors, technicians, and business leaders as we shape the future of avionics together."

A cornerstone of the event is AEA's Annual 'New Product Introduction' session... whereby dozens of the most important names in aircraft electronics show the aviation world "what's new" for all things avionics. Out of dozens of hours of live and archived coverage, ANN is editing nearly 100 unique features, events, interviews and presentations into their own smaller, specific programs for easier, more directly targeted dissemination throughout cyberspace. The first group of programs now released comprises nearly 30 NPI presentations given on the opening day of the event...

The 4-6 minute program features have been posted to AEA's and ANN's YouTube channel for easy access, viewing, embedding and other uses. Produced by Aero-News Network, CEO/Editor-In-Chief Jim Campbell, noted that, "the principal 72 hours of the Convention and Trade Show is something of an Aero-News marathon... requiring crews to be set up, opening day, at the ungodly hour of 0430... shoot some 4 hours of LIVE Aero-TV for the AEA Opening ceremonies, Featured Speakers and NPI -- and THEN schlep a huge amount of gear, cabling, cameras, and computers two floors down and across to the Convention Floor in order to go LIVE again... all in under THREE HOURS. The only reason this happened as well as it did (much less, at all) was the outstanding team that undertook this challenge -- ANN's Nathan Cremisino, Tom Patton, Ashley Hale and John Ylinen. They did a truly extraordinary job."

In the coming days, ANN will be posting dozens of additional featurettes offering archival programming that details the dozens of fascinating and timely interviews conducted during the event as well as the dynamic roster of speakers and other attractions that made AEA2012 a technological, visual and intellectual treat.

“The AEA is grateful to the entire Aero-News Network staff for their coverage throughout the week during the AEA International Convention & Trade Show,” said Paula Derks, AEA President. “The crew dedicated many hours to produce the live-streaming coverage of the AEA Opening Session, New Product Introductions and in-studio interviews from the floor of the AEA Exhibit Hall. The ANN coverage of this event benefits our membership and the entire aviation community.”

The three year partnership between AEA and ANN for their Convention and Trade Show coverage has resulted in over 75 hours of original programming, nearly 30 of it LIVE, and thereafter produced well over 100 individual programs that have served the needs of our community -- not just during the 2010, 2011, and 2012 Convention and Tradeshows -- but every day since then.

Easy access to the archived coverage can most readily be found at www.youtube.com/aerotvnetwork, or www.youtube.com/AEAlive, while a great deal of other AEA and other aviation related coverage can be found at www.aero-news.net
