During an AirVenture Press Conference on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, James W. Brown III and Joseph W. Brown of Tailwind Technologies, Inc., announced the formation of Hartzell Aviation, a newly-named company that brings together iconic aviation companies Hartzell Propeller, Hartzell Engine Tech, and Hartzell Aerospace Welding with the shared purpose of enhancing the freedom of flight and powering the future of aviation.

Hartzell to begin manufacturing airplane propellers," said James W. Brown III.
