VirtualFly Reinforces American Position with JA Flight Training

Midwest Dealer Procures 4th AATD in Grand Caravan Flavor

Virtual Fly has reinforced its relationship with its Midwest dealer, JA Flight Training, with the sale of the company’s 4th simulator bound to their showroom at Aurora Municipal Airport.

The new equipment models a Cessna Grand Caravan for their new AATD, joining the outfit’s current collection of static and full motion simulators. Virtual Fly has made its bones with smaller, more accessible aircraft simulators to provide smaller operators with the same safety training standards enjoyed by large operators. Their portfolio has expanded to include aircraft makes and models from Cessna, Diamond, Beechcraft, and most similar GA aircraft.

JA Flight Training has focused on building a modest showcase of VirtualFly’s work in the Chicago area, choosing to showcase their ready-made, professional level Cessna Caravan sim to a domestic American audience. VirtualFly may not be the most common name in training equipment stateside yet, but their products have become a common fixture in flight schools throughout the EU as functional, durable cost-cutters over actual prop time. JA is a centerpiece of this year’s VirtualFly AirVenture exhibition, helping to show off a pair of their new FAA AATD certified sims with a Solo Pro A and Solo Pro D4. The opportunity to see the company’s Cessna and Diamond emulation is a valuable one for those looking to take their in-house sim equipment to the next level.

Oscar Mateos, Sales and Marketing Global Manager at JA Flight Training, said that the new sim will be a key part of their current phase of growth.

“Showcasing our portfolio near Chicago is essential to grow in the US and we are happy JA Flight Training trusted in our devices and gave us this opportunity.”
