Martin Viecha Becomes Skyryse Strategic Advisor

Tesla VP Investor Relations Until 2024

Skyryse, developer of flight automation technologies, announced that Martin Viecha has joined the company as strategic advisor. Viecha, formerly the VP of Investor Relations at Tesla until he left in June 2024, helped transform that company’s capital markets strategy in redefining the future of mobility.

Viecha brings over a decade of experience in scaling investor communications for one of the foremost transportation companies.

Dr. Mark Groden, Founder and CEO of Skyryse said, "Martin's insight into disruptive technologies and his ability to connect investors to our vision will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of growth. As we pioneer a simpler, safer, and more accessible future for aviation, Martin's experience will help us tell our story to a global audience."

Viecha said, "I've met many companies and founders over the years, but Skyryse embodies the qualities I saw at Tesla more than any other. The mission, the team, the lean mindset—it was clear to me early on that being part of this story would be a privilege."

In a social media post, Viecha explained, “I always loved helicopters and small planes. But they are nowhere near as safe as they could be. Software and controls in the aviation industry are stuck in the 80s. Then I came across Skyryse, who is bringing 21st-century software (SkyOS) and controls into aviation.

“I loved the idea, I sat in their helicopter and flew their simulator. But the most impressive part for me was the team. The passion, the mission, or the disruptive mindset...I felt too many similarities to what I've seen at Tesla to pass this opportunity. I feel honored to be a part of Skyryse's advisory team.”
