From 2017: Greek Company Looks For U.S. Market Share At Sebring…

A new entry in the U.S. non-certified avionics market is Talos Avionics, a Greek company that was on display in January at the Sebring Sport Aircraft Expo.

Herman Eshuis, Owner of Wheels & Wings LLC, told ANN CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell that the Talos system is based around an onboard device that interfaces with a free smartphone app which will give the pilot a basic magnetic compass, airspeed and attitude indicators, outside air temperature, AHRS and stand-alone GPS.

Eshuis explained that the app is available for both iOS and android devices. It connects via Wi-Fi, and is capable of displaying a full avionics panel along with GPS data. The unit retails for $599.
