Whelen Aerospace Acquires AeroLEDS

Strategic Move Reportedly May Strengthen Both Brands in Aviation Market

Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the assets of AeroLEDs, LLC, in a move that expands its product portfolio.

And, hopefully, WAT will improve on the consumer and PR conduct of the AeroLEDS operation, as well.

WAT and AeroLEDs claim to both be committed to producing innovative advancements and provide high-quality lighting products that bring increased safety to aviation. The deal represents the union of two entities that are reportedly on the same page and dedicated to knowing and providing for the needs and values of the aviation community. AeroLEDs will work with WAT to seamlessly integrate procedures while continuing its brand and manufacturing operations in Boise, Idaho.

Tyler Wheeler, CEO of WAT said, “Our brands have consistently aligned in our mission to continuously enhance products for the betterment of the aviation community. AeroLEDs has built a remarkable reputation for reliability and innovation, and together, we will continue to deliver high-quality, durable, and efficient lighting solutions that our customers trust and rely on.”

Nate Calvin, CEO of AeroLEDs commented, “We are thrilled to join forces with WAT. This combination is a testament to our shared commitment to excellence and innovation...”
