ParaZero Launches SafeAir M350 Pro System

New Parachute DJI's New Enterprise Drone

ParaZero has released its SafeAir M350 Pro parachute system for DJI's M350 RTK drone—the newest model in the Chinese manufacturer’s Enterprise series.

Founded in 2014 and based in Be’er Sheva, Israel, ParaZero Drone Safety Solutions is a technology concern specializing in the safe and comprehensive deployment of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

To mitigate flight-risks autonomously, ParaZero’s SafeAir M350 Pro comprises integrated sensors that continuously monitor and analyze the host-drone’s flight condition for purpose of identifying indications of critical failure.

When triggered, the SmartAir Pro, ParaZero’s proprietary onboard computer, instantaneously activates the SafeAir system, which cuts power to the drone, alerts people on the ground with an audible alarm, and deploys a lightweight parachute to bring the drone safely to ground under canopy.

ParaZero CEO Boaz Shetzer stated: “We are excited to launch another unique aftermarket safety system for a leading Enterprise commercial drone. The DJI M350 RTK drone is the replacement for the DJI 300 RTK, which we certified as ASTM F3322-18 compliant, and sold significantly globally, as well as received numerous regulatory approvals. We aim to achieve similar results with this new addition to our product portfolio.”

ParaZero’s website sets forth the company’s vision is to “use its SafeAir drone safety technology to unlock the full potential of the commercial UAS industry through enhancing operational safety, mitigating risk, and enabling organizations to benefit from regulatory approvals for advanced UAS use cases.”

In keeping with the antecedent vision, ParaZero has supplied advanced safety solutions to global customers across myriad aerial platforms, including multirotor, single-rotor, fixed-wing, Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL), manned and unmanned, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) aircraft.

Worldwide, organizations and operators have received regulatory approvals for advanced operations, including autonomous flight beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), operations over people (OOP), operations in densely populated areas, and drone delivery, by virtue, in part, of ParaZero’s innovative parachute technology—which provides an autonomous and comprehensive safety solution conducive to mitigating ground risk in the event of an in-flight UAS emergency.
