Navy, Marine, Air Force Jet Fighters Headline Wings Over Wine Country Air Show

Strong Lineup Of Civilian Acts Also Scheduled To Perform

The Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) will welcome Navy, Marine and Air Force front line fighter jets to its air show line-up of performers.  The air show will be held at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport, Santa Rosa, CA on August 18-19.

The F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team from Lemoore NAS will show off its tactical power, maneuverability, high performance and speed.  The Marines will provide a rare AV-8B Harrier air show flight performance to commemorate the Centennial of Marine Aviation.  A Harrier from MCAS Yuma and three helicopter gunships from Camp Pendleton will be on static display.  The Air Force will provide a nostalgic Heritage Flight with an A-10 fighter and a vintage P-51 Mustang flown by renowned warbird pilot Steve Hinton.

Additional military participation in the Wings Over Wine Country Air Show includes U-2 "Dragon Lady" and T-38 overflights and a C-17 "Globemaster III" static display.

The civilian air show line up includes:

  • Julie Clark performing a patriotic air presentation in her magnificent T-34
  • Tim Weber tumbling and high-roll aggressive aerobatics
  • Bill Cornick and Spencer Suderman each performing solo aerobatics in their Pitts Special aircraft and will also perform their Vertical Aerobatic Challenge
  • Dr. D's Old-Time Aerobatics
  • One of the west coast's largest gatherings of flying P-51 Mustangs, P-40s and warbirds
  • Famed Air Show Announcer Danny Clisham
  • Many fabulous static display aircraft

Gates open both days at 9:00 a.m. for pre-show activities, including radio controlled model aircraft demonstrations. Guests who purchase Pancake Breakfast tickets will have access to the air show at 8:00 a.m
