Trip Airlines Pilot Takes Exception To A Passengers Comments

Female Pilot Tossed A Man Off Her Plane After He Made Sexist Comments

A man who allegedly made disparaging comments about women flying airplanes was tossed off a Trip Airlines flight in Brazil after a female pilot overheard his remarks.

The incident occurred Tuesday. The Associated Press reports that the female pilot insisted the man get off the plane after he allegedly made loud comments of a sexist nature when he learned the pilot was a woman. He was met by police after he was escorted off the plane, but has not been identified, and it is unclear if he has been charged.

The plane continued on to its final destination of Goias after being delayed for about an hour. The airline said such remarks about any of the 1,400 women it employs will not be tolerated.
